Santa Came!

Christmas morning Lucie woke up early with a "quick try...quick try..." and then we popped her back in bed...two seconds later we hear her feet pitter patter down the hall... Grandma had left a small tree lit at the end of it and it must have triggered Lu's thoughts! We raced down to follow with Bubs in arms. She only noticed that the cookies were gone and the milk drunk..."Daddy I have to get Santa more milk!" She curiously eyed the plate of crumbs and you could see the wheels in her head turning...processing...thinking...

After a bit, Daddy changed the focus by drawing her attention up past the table to the fireplace and tree!! Goodness so many fat stockings! And two bears having tea and biscuits already!
We did end up deciding on NEVER having chocolate in the stocking again...it hit the blood stream violently and sent Lu into an uncontrollable naughty little tizzy. The presents were opened slowly all morning, letting the kids digest their fun in full! The later we were off to Uncle Ed's for more family fun!
