The Grand Canyon...

We decided to take a week and see some National Parks since they were also free that week! The first was the Grand Canyon which was HUGE and we got there one hour before is started snowing so we actually did see it! Boy was it blustery and cold!! From there we headed NW to Zion and the country between these two parks is as close to barren, bleak, desolate, hellish...as I care to come...(Joe I am sorry the Herberides are a garden next to this one!) So by the time we got to Hurricane, Utah it as like an Oasis of green! The kids did great watching toons, eating choice snacks, and Lu rode her bike everywhere (mastering it by the end of the trip) and lil' Jer mowed everything! Each motel/hotel had a pool so lots of swimming was done as lil' Jer will proudly tell you "I can kick!" Daddy worked him and now he loves the pool as much as Lullers! In fact he often says, "Are we going to a ho-tell tonight?" really wanting to know if he can swim today!!!
