St. Lucia Day!

Today Dec. 13th is St. Lucia Day. Mostly celebrated in Norway, Sweden, and Finland it is tradition for the eldest daughter to wake up the family in a white robe and crown of holly. The boys wear a white robe and hat. After everyone awakes she serves them a light breakfast of coffee and sweet saffron buns! Our Sweet Lucille in honor of her namesake, woke us up early and beckoned us downstairs for our light breakfast. She chose to wear a "Merry Merry Christmas" hat instead and a toasty blue fleece.

Lula is beaming with pride for her teeth and loves to practice balancing. Only 2 days till cuzzie Katelynn arrives..."Somebody pop me!" shouted Lula " I can't wait for cuzzie Katelynn!"
